Gillett Properties, Ltd. (“Gillett Properties,” “we,” “us”) uses text messaging for direct, person-to-person business communication with tenants, vendors, and other individuals we have an existing relationship with — for example maintenance coordination, lease matters, payment reminders, and scheduling. This policy describes how we handle information in connection with that text messaging program.
Information we collect
We collect the contact information you provide to us directly — such as your name, mobile phone number, and email address — in the course of our business relationship (for example, on a lease application, vendor agreement, or when you contact us).
How we use your mobile number
Your mobile number is used only to communicate with you individually about matters relevant to our relationship. Messages are conversational and person-to-person; we do not send bulk marketing or promotional text blasts.
No sharing of mobile information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with, or sold to, any third party. We may share information only as required to operate the messaging service itself (e.g., our telecommunications provider transmitting the messages) or as required by law.
Message frequency, rates, and opt-out

- You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at jon@gillettproperties.com.
Data retention and security
We retain contact information for as long as needed for our business relationship and as required by law, and we use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect it.
